King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang’s Executive team visited Tsinghua University, People's Republic of China

Prof.Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, President of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Dr. Pisanu Rienmahasarn, Advisor, Academic and International Affairs, Prof.Dr. Tang Zhimin, Advisor, Academic and International Affairs, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Somyot Kaitwanidvilai, Executive Vice President for Research and Innovation, Asst.Prof.Dr. Aranya Walairacht, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr. Chaiyan Jettanasen, Vice president for International Affairs, Dr. Chada Triamvithaya, Acting Assistant Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Dr. Prasert Prapamonthon, International Academy of Aviation Industry member, along with representatives of the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing visited Tsinghua University on Monday, 25^th March 2019. The KMITL executives were warmly welcomed by Prof. Yang Bin, Vice President and Provost of Tsinghua University, Prof. Wan Junren, Dean of School of Humanities, Ms. Meng Bo, Associate Dean, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and Mr. Wang Deyu, Minister, Design and Prototyping Lab, iCenter at West Hall, President’s Office.

On this occasion, Prof.Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat and the representatives present, together with Prof. Yang Bin, discussed possibilities for cooperation between KMITL and Tsinghua University. The essential purpose of these discussions was to establish an interinstitutional collaboration agreement. Upon the productive conclusion of these talks, it was subsequently agreed that KMITL and Tsinghua University would collaborate in the following areas:

1. Scholarships for students and staff of Tsinghua University to study at CMKL of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
2. The exchange of visiting professors in engineering, science, and other fields
3. Collaborative projects between KMITL and Tsinghua University to find and connect researchers in fields in which both institutes aim to collaborate in the future
4. Discussion regarding the joining of social sciences and humanities with KMITL and the further strengthening of cooperation in both of these areas
