KMITL’s Students worked on the Short Film Show Project, "the Campaign of No Gambling During the FIFA World Cup 2018 Matches"
On the 10th June 2018 at SF World Cinema, CentralWorld. Bangkok, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) in cooperation with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (THPF), the Children and Youth Council of Thailand , and the Stop Gambling Foundation arranged the project opening of the media of no gambling campaign during the FIFA World Cup 2018 games.
In the event, the honor trophy awards were presented to the five short filmmakers who participated in the project. The 5 awarded works were
- "Risk" from the Nitedkaset film team, from Agricultural Communication, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang,
- "The Same Ending Point In The End" from the Ruedooson or Pine Season Team, from Khunyuam Witthaya school, Mae Hong Son
- "Opposite Site” from the BUCA team, from Faculty of Communication Arts, Bangkok University
- "SBALL BET" from the team of the Children and Youth Council of Sisaket, and
- "Cycphuket" from the team of the Children and Youth Council of Phuket, In order to make children and young people aware of not being victims of online gambling.
The Nitedkaset film team of KMITL comprised 6 members of the KMITL’s students of 4 years;
