KMITL cooperated the enhancement of a standard of Krabi’s fishermen to be fisherman 4.0

Assistant Professor Dr. Ananya Charoenpornnipat, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, trained about 145 local Krabi’s fishery trainees from Mueang Krabi District, Khlong Thom District, Ao Luk District, and Khlong Nhua District, to enhance them to live the standard lives of Andaman coastal from fisherman 1.0 to Smart Fishermen 4.0. The activity would be to upgrade the quality of life, increase income for local fishermen in Krabi province and fishery along the Andaman coast. In the training, the scholars from Krabi Regional Marine Office 5 and senior fishery officers from Phuket had been the trainers to educate the trainees to clearly understand the suitable fishery tools, legal mesh size of trawl nets, trawling methods, legal registration of fishery boat, green fishery of sustainable environment responsibility, and the fishery royal act.   The event was recently arranged at the Maritime Park & Spa Resort, Krabi.
